Incepted in 2008, The Babu Dham Trust serves a motive of establishing the future of poor people. This was founded by AP Pathak, Additional Director General, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. He was born in the village, Bargaon, Thana Ram Nagar District West Champaran, Bihar.

He completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Patna and his graduation in B-Tech Civil Engineering Mesra (Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra) from Ranchi in the year 1980. With his hard-working nature, he got selected in UPSC in 1982. From there, his life took a turn and he was appointed as Minister of Road Transport and Highways. After working for many years, he achieved the position of Additional Director General, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. In addition, the journey from becoming the Former Secretary to Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha and the Former OSD to Hon’ble Petroleum Minister was not only inspiring for many yet changed the lives of many budding ministers.
