About This Program
Each winter, thousands of people in India — particularly in Delhi and Bihar — face biting cold with no means to protect themselves. For the homeless, the elderly, and the poor, a single blanket can be the difference between life and death.
Since 2010, Babu Dham Trust has run an annual blanket distribution drive before the onset of winter. We procure high-quality, durable blankets in bulk and distribute them through organised camps and direct street outreach — ensuring every piece reaches a person in need.

Key Initiatives
Winter Blanket Drive
Each year before winter sets in, we distribute thick woollen blankets to homeless individuals and BPL families in Delhi, Bihar, and UP.
Community Distribution Camps
Setting up one-day distribution camps in targeted villages, ensuring blankets reach families who cannot travel to collection points.
Street & Shelter Outreach
Reaching out to pavement dwellers, railway station sleepers, and migrant workers in urban areas with blankets and warm clothing.
Cold-Wave Emergency Response
Activating emergency blanket distribution during cold-wave alerts to protect the elderly, children, and the homeless from life-threatening cold.
