About This Programme
Every year, floods devastate thousands of families across Bihar and northern India — washing away homes, crops, and livelihoods in a matter of hours. Babu Dham Trust's Flood Relief Programme mobilises rapidly to deliver life-saving aid directly to the most affected communities.
Our volunteers are trained and stationed year-round in flood-prone districts. The moment disaster strikes, we activate our relief network — distributing food, water, medicines, and shelter materials while coordinating with local authorities for long-term rehabilitation.

Key Initiatives
Emergency Relief Kits
Distributing food packets, clean drinking water, medicines, and essential supplies to flood-hit families within 48 hours of a disaster.
Temporary Shelter Support
Setting up temporary shelters and rehabilitation camps with basic amenities for displaced families until they can return home safely.
Clean Water & Sanitation
Deploying water purification units and sanitation facilities in flood-affected areas to prevent waterborne diseases.
Disaster Preparedness Training
Educating communities in flood-prone Bihar villages on evacuation planning, early warning systems, and post-flood safety protocols.
